Andorran cuisine
Traditional Andorran cuisine was based on a subsistence economy with local products. That is why today most of their dishes are from mountain cuisine. You can also find a wide range of game and livestock meats that are commonly used in restaurant kitchens, cooked on the grill and in many other ways: wild boar, deer, rabbit, kid, lamb, veal, beef, pork, or duck. River trout and cod stand out as the predominant fish, and also do other ingredients of Andorran cuisine such as nuts, mushrooms, or forest fruits.
